The new Chairman of the Kenya Copyright Board Hon. Hon Joshua Kutuny met with the Collective Management Organisations (CMOs) to agree on modalities of collaboration between the leadership and the regulator in promoting the welfare of artists in Kenya.
He issued the CMOs with provisional licenses as per Section 46 3(A) of the Copyright Act effective 8th November to May 9th 2024 in line with the Board resolution of Wednesday 8th November following his appointment by His Excellency the President William Samoei Ruto.
The meeting was attended by the Chairs, Vice Chairs and CEOs of the Collective Management Organizations (CMOs), including MCSK Vice Chair @Joseph Shisia Wasira and our CEO Dr. Ezekiel Mutua, MBS.
